About the event

What is Neighborhood Slow Zone?

A Neighborhood Slow Zone is a defined residential area where safety measures have been implemented in order to change driver behavior. The goal of a Neighborhood Slow Zone is to slow the speeds of motor vehicles in order to reduce both the frequency and severity of traffic crashes. Projects are developed through collaboration with neighborhood residents to ensure a holistic and equitable outcome.
