What does the Communinty Engagement Committee Do?

The CEC focuses on increasing awareness and involvement by creating space for dialogue, inviting speakers to share resources and opportunities that impact the Near East Side. The overarching goal of CEC is to ensure that residents are informed and engaged.

Some past speakers include: Jordan Miller, Chairman & CEO of Adelphi Bank, Cheryl Brooks Sullivan, Franklin County Treasurer, Tom Dillard, President of James Preston Poindexter Foundation, and Debera Diggs of the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.

Is your organization or business doing work that aligns with our community goals? We invite you to share at an upcoming committee meeting. Presentations are a great way to highlight services, share updates, or offer insights to support local planning and collaboration. Nonprofits, businesses, and agencies are all welcome.
